The connections between Vasco and the art community (specifically, Richard Rush & Sigmund Purwin) are numerous and started back in Art School in the late 1930's.  It carried into WWII where their bond deepened then turned into life long friends and colleagues.  Genevieve was also a significant part of the companies they worked with and for.

Ray Nowak of Chicago Display was a life long friend of Vasco's.
